We also focus much less time on independent testing, preferring to focus only on independent non-functional and user acceptance testing. Our developers develop code that works and the Solution Architect ensures it all comes together and meets the agreed Roadmap, integrating ready made Cloud based solutions as required. A focus on Mobility and Cloud based solutions often requires some radical change of thinking, particularly if your team is engaged in more traditional siloed business function solutions. Today's customer expects Mobile solutions, whenever, wherever and however. We beleive that just as with construction Architecture whereby an Architect oversees all aspects of the solution, from design to delivery, an IT Solution Architect should and can do the same. Business Analysis at the start and the end of the Delivery cycle focuses on the overall business goals that take the customer perspective at every opportunity, coupled with benefits realisation and prioritisation, rather than a more traditional role of detailed requirements gathering and documentation, which we recommend is left to the Solution Architect and Development team. Together, they will size and frame the overall solution in the context of agreed business goals.
